Apple Pie Smoothie

This Gut Healing Smoothie Forms Part of The DBM Gut Repair Program

To spice things up, add a 1-­‐inch piece of ginger or a dash of cayenne or cinnamon.


  • ⅛ teaspoon cloves
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cold pressed olive oil, OR cold pressed hemp seed oil
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, core removed
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • 1 cup filtered, OR spring water
  • 1 cup almond milk, OR coconut milk, OR hemp seed milk, OR goat’s milk

Special Equipment

  • Blender


  • In a blender, blend all of the ingredients until smooth.

Serving Suggestion

  • If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add water as needed.
  • Pour into a tall glass and serve.
