Beetroot Smoothie
This beetroot smoothie is easy on the eye and tastes surprisingly delicious and is one of the simplest ways to add a daily effective cleanse to your busy life.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon hemp seed powder (By Superfoods)
- 1 small beetroot, washed, peeled and diced
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 soaked prunes (soak prunes in filtered water overnight)
- 3 soaked dates (soak dates in filtered water overnight)
- 5 strawberries
- 1 cup almond milk, OR coconut milk, OR hemp seed milk, OR goat’s milk
- 1 cup filtered, OR spring water
Special Equipment
- Blender
Instructions
- In a blender, blend the chopped beetroot with 3 tablespoons milk for 1 minute.
- Slowly add the rest of the ingredients one at a time and process until smooth.
Serving Suggestion
- If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add water as needed.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve.
