Avo and Lime Smoothie
The best ways to protect your kidneys is to consume foods containing potassium and magnesium, drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables and eat lots of fresh herbs.
This smoothie is a great way to do all of that in a single serving.
Ingredients
- ½ avocado
- ½ lime, peeled
- 1 frozen banana (remember to cut into slices before freezing)
- 1 kiwi, peeled
- 1 node of fresh cilantro
- 1 cup filtered, OR spring water
- ¼ cup of walnuts (optional)
Special Equipment
- Blender
Instructions
- In a blender, blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
Serving Suggestion
- If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add water as needed.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve.
