Time-Saving Measures

Tea #1 – Liver & Spleen Tea Combo

Supplies required Per Patient: Physicians instructions only. Can be made in bulk and stored in glass in the refrigerator. Re-heat as needed in a stainless-steel pot. Do not add honey or lemon until ready to serve. DO NOT reheat with honey/lemon added.  DO NOT MICROWAVE. 

Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon dried sage
  • ¼ tablespoon fennel seed
  • ¼ lemon
  • 1 green tea teabag
  • 1 cup of filtered or spring water
  • Honey to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring filtered water, sage and fennel to the boil for a few minutes, remove from heat.
  • Allow to steep for 7 minutes
  • Add green tea teabag and allow to steep for a further 3 minutes.
  • Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice to taste, drink and enjoy.  
  • Enjoy 1 cup per day, 3 days per week for 4 consecutive weeks.

Tea #2 – Kidney & Pancreas Tea Combo

Supplies required Per Patient: Physicians instructions only. Can be made in bulk and stored in glass in the refrigerator. Re-heat as needed in a stainless-steel pot. Do not add honey or lemon until ready to serve. DO NOT reheat with honey/lemon added.  DO NOT MICROWAVE. 

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1L of filtered or spring water
  • ¼ lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried bay leaves (at least 2 whole bay leaves)
  • Honey to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring filtered water, parsley, bayleaves and ginger to the boil and immediately remove from heat.
  • Allow to steep for ten min before straining and allow to cool.
  • Pour approximately 250ml tea into a glass; squeeze in some lemon to taste.
  • Drink 1 glass per day for 4 consecutive days, repeat weekly for 1 month.

The remaining tea can be kept in the fridge until finished. Fresh tea can be made weekly while following the cleanse.

Avoid in pregnancy as bay leaf tea is a uterine stimulant
