Doctors Beyond Medicine has a vision to open and manage a home and center of excellence for the “forgotten orphans” fighting for survival in the areas and villages the team services. This facility will ensure each group of children are allocated fully furnished homes to ensure they have a safe place to live. Each home or group of homes will have an allocated caregiver or “parent” to ensure family values and morals are instilled.
The Centre of Excellence will focus on academic, leadership, spiritual, entrepreneurial and life skills training, allowing us to groom a new generation of thinkers and doers ready to offer their services in selectively targeted industries or apprenticeship alliances.
This project is a huge undertaking which requires detailed strategic and budgetary planning.
The DBM team has already sourced an ideal venue to host this home and center of excellence. Funding of 4,5 million Rand is required to secure the purchase of this property with and estimation of a further 10 million Rand to renovate and equip this property.
DBM are looking for strategic corporate alliances to assist with the funding of this project.
